Snowbird ski resort is situated in the village of Little Cottonwood Canyon in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah in the United States. Originally, this area emerged around the large silver mine in Little Cottonwood Canyon in the 19th century. The ski area is known as the absolute top in America, winning various awards over the last years. The ski resort is only 30km from the airport, and close to the big city Salt Lake City, making Snowbird easily accessible.

Snowboarding Snowbird

For freestyle snowboarders, there is a fun park in Snowbird on the flanks of the Big Emma run. Especially beginners and semi-advanced will enjoy this park tremendously. Besides this park there is also a huge super pipe totaling 100 meters long, 18 meters wide and with walls 5.5 meters high!

Skischools Snowbird

The ski and snowboard school Snow Bird teaches snow sports at every skill level. The Snowbird Mountain School has programs for children and adults, and special ski and snowboard camps for young and old.
