Bretton Woods is located in New Hampshire in the United States. Bretton Woods is the biggest ski area in this region of the United States, with modern facilities and a nice resort center. The name Bretton Woods is obviously known for the Financial Conference, that was once held here (July 1-22, 1944), where among other things, the IMF was created, and many of the issues in the field of currency exchange rates and other issues still see their foundation. Recently constructed is the Canopy Tour, a zipline tour that allows daredevils and adventurers to race along a cable across the valleys.

The Bretton Woods ski area stretches over 434 acres that include 101 downhill trails. These more than 100 ski runs are connected by 10 lifts, which also give access to four different fun parks. Night skiing is also possible at Bretton Woods on Friday and Saturday and in the winter season on many days during the week.

The Bretton Woods Red Carpet Ski & Snowboard School has a special lesson programs for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. For smaller children there is the Hobbit Ski & Snowboard School and Burton Kids' Learn To Ride Center where children 4-12 years old receive special attention and small group lessons. For the smallest children there is also the Babes in the Woods Nursery.
