This is a serious mountain for serious skiers. My husband who's been traveling here from Canada for more than 20 years says it's a combination of great value and some of the best skiing in the world for experts seeking endless powder. If you can be spontaneous, check the weather for weather systems heading towards Utah and then hop on a plane if you can. There's nothing like Snowbird powder! If you're not that serious about skiing and seeking a fabulous night life with amazing accommodations, look elsewhere. Not a lot of ambiance here. While my kids have grown up skiing here every year, Snowbird is not for everyone. Sadly, even I can no longer keep up with the boys so my Snowbird days are almost over unless I want to ski solo. Overall, great value and often amazing powder.
