The Uludag ski area is located in the province of Bursa in western Turkey. Uluda? translated literally, means ?the great mountain?, and has a rich history of Greek and Roman mythology as Mysian Olympus. It is one of the absolute top ski resorts of Turkey, with its highest peak, Kara Tepe (2543 meter high).

The skiing area of Uludag is accessible by four cable-car lifts, which are linked. Two of these entrance points are between Kadi and Sari Alan and two are between Bursa and the Kadi plateau. In addition to this cable car, there are 8 chair lifts and 7 drag lifts. Ski season here lasts from December to late March, with good powder snow primarily at the start of the season. In total you have 13 different ski runs. The ski runs are attractive for beginners and families with children.
