Ski holidays in Wiriehorn

Wiriehorn is a small ski resort in the Diemtigtal in the Bernese Oberland region. Besides Wiriehorn also Grimmialp and Springenboden are part of this vast valley. The area is best suited for peace, quiet and families. In Wiriehorn there is a ski area with some ski slopes for all levels. With a chairlift and 6 tow lifts, the area offers plenty of opportunities.

The winter sport facilities in the Diemtigtal are great, with three different resorts with ski slopes. This ski resort offers a great ski holiday destination for the novice skier and families with kids. Grimmialp has the largest skiing area, with 25 km of ski runs. In the Wiriehorn ski area you will find descents for all skill levels. With a chairlift and six draglifts, it offers plenty of possibilities. The Springboden area is a small ski resort where you come to relax and do some light skiing accessed by a lift and two small baby lifts. For cross-country skiing, the runs from Grimmialp to the nearby Riedli have more than 20 km of cross-country ski trails.

There are very limited apres-ski facilities in Wiriehorn, but around the ski area there are a number of small bars.

Especially around Grimmialp, snowboarders have a lot of modules to take them through the day and to offer plenty of challenge!
