Ski holidays in Viamala

The ski resort Viamala lies in the Graubünden region in Switzerland. It includes, among other ski holiday villages, Splügen, Sufers, Nufenen, and Hinterrhein. The ski area has several ski sectors, including the slopes of Splügen Tambo, Tschappina-Urmein-Thusis, Sarn-Heinzenberg, Avers, and Mutten Feldis. The ski slopes of Thusis and Heinzenberg are especially attractive. In general this area offers a great stretch of small skiing villages that are growing more and more into one another. Famous Swiss such as Goethe and Einstein originate from this region!

The area has seven beautiful ski runs in the vicinity of Splugen, with a total of 30 km. The Bergbahnen Splügen Tambo has a modern gondola that will take you all the way to 2,200 meters in altitude. Ski areas in the vicinity of Tschappina-Urmein-Thusis and close to Sarn-Heinzenberg have about another 20 km of runs each.

Skischools Viamala

There are a number of ski schools in each area, but the Schweizer Ski-und Snowboardschule Splügen is, by far, the largest. Smaller ski schools in the area are the Schneesportschule Tschappina, and the ski school, Snowfactory Tschappina.
