Rothenthurm is a small ski resort in the ski Hoch Ybrig in central Switzerland. It offers easy access to the ski area of Hoch Ybrig - but it also has a local ski area. The local ski slopes of the ski area Biberegg are divided over the 'Skilift Biberegg-Neusell' and the 'Skilift Biberegg-Mädern'. The cross country trails around the village are very famous. The ski slopes in Hoch Ybrig are very diverse in their descents, and each level of skier has more than enough challenge. The lifts from Iberegg bring you up to the slopes of Ybrig, or even higher, to the slopes of Hoch Ybrig.
