Ski holidays in Meiringen

Meiringen Ski resort is located in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. The Alpine region Meiringen-Hasliberg (also Haslital) includes the ski resorts Meiringen and Hasliberg. The Sherlock Holmes Museum is located in Meiringen (as weird as that may sound) and is also a fun trip.

The ski resort of Meiringen-Hasliberg offers something for everyone, and the beautiful views here are hard to find almost anywhere else in Switzerland! (See the images taken from the lift.) You can go night-skiing in Käserstatt-Lischen. In addition to the large ski resort of the Meiringen-Hasliberg, there are also small ski areas at the Wyler Ski Lift, Guttannen Ski, Gadmen Ski Lift, and Cable Car Handegg-Gerstenegg.

The apres-ski is surprisingly good around Meiringen-Hasliberg, whit a huge choice in bars, restaurants and even some very nice clubs.

Snowboarders in Meiringen-Hasliberg can enjoy a beautiful freestyle park (Freestyle-park.ch) with a natural boarder cross. The freestyle park includes high jumps up to 20 meters high, rails, an elevator and a quarterpipe. For powder-snow lovers, the top of the ski slopes at Brienz and Hasliberg also offer more than enough challenge!

Skischools and ski hire in Meiringen

The Alpine Meiringen-Hasliberg has a large ski school the 'Swiss Ski and Snowboard School' has about 75 ski instructors. (Skischule-hasliberg.ch) The smaller (private) ski schools in the area have also about 25 ski instructors.
