The ski resort Laax is located in the ski area Vorderrheintal in the Graubünden region. Laax is the capital of the Flims-Laax-Falera ski area. Only a few miles from the quiet Flims, Laax is actually the beating heart of this area. Laax is especially popular with the snowboarders. The World Cup Snowboarding was held here several times. As the largest hotels and apartment buildings are situated just outside the village, the Laax village centre has kept much if its original charm.

Slope information Flims-Laax-Falera - Laax

Virtually the entire ski area is accessible from all villages. The big lifts from the middle of the village centers take you to the vast area of snow-rich slopes. Beginners find the best areas around Nagens and Crap Sogn Gion. The entire ski area offers ample opportunities for the average skier. In particular, the part under the lift to the Crap Sogn Gion and on the back of the Vorab offers many ski experts a challenge.

Apres ski in Laax

The nightlife in Laax centres around the old town along the Crap Sogn Gion gondola. The apres-ski and discotheques in Laax are great! Many medium-sized cities do not have such nice apres-ski! Particularly the young people enjoy the many activities in the evening. One of the coolest places to go to is the Camona. The large groups of snowboarders in Laax mainly go to the Crap bar and Granite Bar.

Snowboarding in Laax

Films-Laax-Falera makes snowboarders very happy. There is a permanent boarder park, a mini boarder cross for the little ones, more than one halfpipe (including a monster halfpipe on the Crap Sogn Gion), and a boarder cross and monster pipe on the Vorab (six meters high and 140 meters long!)
