Ski holidays in Jungfrau

The Jungfrau region is located in the Berner Oberland. The ski resort includes the ski holiday destinations Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnnen, Wilderswill, Mürren and Wengen. The ski resort has a beautiful setting with Mürren having been depicted in films including the James Bond movie 'On Her Majestys Secret Service' The resort is still not overrun by winter sports enthusiasts, and both Mürren and Wengen have a completely car-free city center, Grindelwald is a larger ski resort with many more guests and a more elaborate apres-ski. With a huge number of mountains of enormous altitude, such as the Eiger and the Schwarzhorn, the valley is surrounded by beautiful panoramic views!

Slope information Jungfrau - Jungfrau

The Jungfrau region offers a wide variety of lifts and even ski-trains that take you up the mountains. The ski area has been split into three ski sectors, the Grindelwald area (offering great tanning time on the southern slopes), the area around Kleine Scheidegg, and the Männlichen area (bottom of the Eiger.) The absolute highlight of your ski vacation in this region will absolutely be the long descent from Grindelwald in the direction of the lift at Männlichen with more than 45 minutes of non-stop skiing! And, when you go to this area you have to try out the James Bond Ski Run in Mürren.

Snowboarding Jungfrau

For snowboarders, Mürren has a great halfpipe, and the slightly smaller fun park in Klein Scheidegg / Männlichen has several modules especially for beginners. (The parks can count on perfect snow reports the entire ski season, thanks to many snow-making machines.) In addition to these two older snow parks, there is also a brand new snow park with lots of modules next to the Bärgelegg lift for snowboarders of different levels.

Skischools Jungfrau

The ski schools in Grindelwald, the Schweizer Ski-und Snowboardschule (the official ski school of Grindelwald), the Ski & Snowboard School (SSBS) Buri Sports, Felix Ski Paradies, a branch of Privat-Ski.ch, and the small ski school Kleine Scheidegg: Schweizer Ski-und Snowboardschule Kleine Scheidegg, have more than 200 ski instructors. Mürren also has a small ski school, the Schweizer Ski & Snowboardschule Mürren. The ski area around Wengen has two enormous ski schools with a total of 150 ski instructors.
