The super ski region Gstaad-Saanenland lies in the Berner Oberland to the east side of Lake Geneve. The ski resort of Gstaad-Saanenland (also known as Gstaad Mountain Rides) includes the ski-holiday destinations of Gstaad, Gstaad Glacier 3000, Saanen, Schönried-Saanenmöser and Zweisimmen. Also nearby are the villages Château-d?Oex and Rougemont. Slope information Gstaad - Gstaad

The ski slopes in Gstaad are especially suitable for beginners and for advanced skiers. Gstaad is a paradise! The ski slopes can be classified into four ski sections: Sector 1 which includes the slopes around the Hornberg and Rellerligrat (trails with the best view of the area); Sector 2 (the largest sector) at Eggli with the huge mountains Vidamenette, Wasserngrat, and Wispile,.which have enough challenge (including the black slope at the back of La Vidamenette) for every skiing level; Sector 3 containing the easier runs around Chateau d'Oex; and, Sector 4 where you can take the lift to the Col du Pillon and reach the altitude of the vast Gstaad Glacier 3000. These ski slopes also offer a bus service to the ski resort Villars-Gryon and Les Diablerets.

Snowboarding Gstaad

Snowboarders can enjoy four fantastic fun parks, The Snowpark at Glacier 3000, Vanilla Noir Park in Saanenmöser, the Schneefall Park in Zweisimmen, and the Snow Park La Braye in Chateau d'Oex. The off-piste possibilities for snowboarders are equally fantastic in this winter holiday destination!

Skischools Gstaad

With more than 360 ski instructors, this ski area has an army of red-ski experts who come to your aid on the ski slopes. The skiing schools include Schneesportschule Zweisimmen, Ski School Snowsports Saanenmöser, Snowboard School Snowsports Saanen, Snowsports Schönried, Schneesportsschule Lauenen, and many private ski schools. The largest of all is, of course, Ski School Snowsports Gstaad.
