The Gstaad Glacier 3000, is situated in the heart of the ski super-region Gstaad Saanenland in the Bernese Oberland to the east side of Lake Geneve. The Gstaad Glacier 3000 is also known as the Diablerets glacier, which allows you to go up both by helicopter as well as with the normal cable car. Mondain, luxurious, chic, royalty - all words that typify Gstaad. In recent years, Gstaad has grown into an absolute top destination for the fans of a luxury winter sports holiday. It can be mentioned in one breath with the ones of St. Moritz, Courchevel, Megeve and Lech ski resorts. Allhough the ski slopes are divided in multiple sectors, the descents in this ski area are fantastic, and are connected through skibus or skitrain.

The ski slopes in Gstaad are especially suitable for beginners and for advanced skiers. Gstaad is a paradise! The ski slopes can be classified into four ski sections: Sector 1 which includes the slopes around the Hornberg and Rellerligrat (trails with the best view of the area); Sector 2 (the largest sector) at Eggli with the huge mountains Vidamenette, Wasserngrat, and Wispile,.which have enough challenge (including the black slope at the back of La Vidamenette) for every skiing level; Sector 3 containing the easier runs around Chateau d'Oex; and, Sector 4 where you can take the lift to the Col du Pillon and reach the altitude of the vast Gstaad Glacier 3000. These ski slopes also offer a bus service to the ski resort Villars-Gryon and Les Diablerets.

The après-ski in Gstaad fits a ski resort of its class. It starts around the slopes, in the Olden Bar. After the first apres-ski allows you to feel comfortable going to a delicious meal, because the real nightlife only starts around 11 o'clock. The discos where you absolutely have to be are: Club 95 and the Grotte. The most expensive disco of Gstaad, Palace is also a must, but do you have to bring your credit card to enjoy your time there ... Finally, there is a brand new casino, where you also can have fun evening out.
