Fiescheralp is one of the three main sections of the Aletsch in Wallis. The ski area also contains the famous Bettmeralp and Riederalp. Fiescheralp (at the village Fiesch) has a small local ski area with about 40 km ski slopes, but you can make very long ski trips all the way to the Riederalp and Bettmeralp (and the associated Aletschgletscher).
Slope information Aletsch - Fiescheralp
The Aletsch offers a large variety of trails for every level skier or snowboarder. The small ski areas like in Bellwald, Brig, Goms / Oberwald, and Ernen Binn offer a modest ski area with a number of lifts with red slopes. Blatten-Belalp has a total of 20 km slopes for all levels (blue / red / black) and is therefore the most diverse. Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp has more than 100 km of slopes which are blue and red. Enormously challenging black runs around the Blatten-Belalp and the Aletsch Glacier (Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp) make the area popular with experienced skiing and snowboarding fans.
Apres ski in Fiescheralp
The apres-ski in Fiescheralp is limited to the nice restaurants in the village and a few nice terraces at the gondola on top of the mountain. Besides skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing you can also do exciting things such as hang-gliding!
Snowboarding in Fiescheralp
The area offers a wide variety of snowboarding possibilities, with three different fun parks, two boarder crosses, four halfpipes, and two quarterpipes!.Because these facilities are spread out among the various participating ski areas, we recommend that snowboarders use the slopes around Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp, where the bulk of these facilities can be found!
