The ski resort Bellwald is located in Wallis near the Aletsch (in Rhonedal). Bellwald is a wonderful old-fashioned alpenine resort whit a long tradition as a family ski resort. The high altitude ensures great snow, despite the many hours of sunshine.

Slope information Aletsch - Bellwald

The Aletsch offers a large variety of trails for every level skier or snowboarder. The small ski areas like in Bellwald, Brig, Goms / Oberwald, and Ernen Binn offer a modest ski area with a number of lifts with red slopes. Blatten-Belalp has a total of 20 km slopes for all levels (blue / red / black) and is therefore the most diverse. Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp has more than 100 km of slopes which are blue and red. Enormously challenging black runs around the Blatten-Belalp and the Aletsch Glacier (Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp) make the area popular with experienced skiing and snowboarding fans.

The quiet village has a few nice terraces on top of the mountain, but no real apres-ski.

The area offers a wide variety of snowboarding possibilities, with three different fun parks, two boarder crosses, four halfpipes, and two quarterpipes!.Because these facilities are spread out among the various participating ski areas, we recommend that snowboarders use the slopes around Riederalp-Bettmeralp-Fiescheralp, where the bulk of these facilities can be found!
