The small hamlet Les Pres d?Orvin is the largest of a series of villages along the Jura Berener and lies in the Swiss portion of the cross Jura mountains. Lovers of peace and good food sit in Les Presd?Orvin quite good. Les Pres d'Orvin is also the birthplace of many of the famous swiss watch makers, as you clearly see in some museums and the old-fashioned industry in the region.

Les Pres d'Orvin is a paradise for cross-country skiing, with no less than 74 km of cross-country tracks including a ?monsterloipe? (ski trail), the Chasseral (Ski-de-fond.ch), a cross-country trail about 17 km long. The alpine ski slopes are slightly less attractive, but with some ski lifts, you can still enjoy a couple of runs.
