Have been lucky enough to have skied at Villars for a month a year since 1964.
It is the most beautiful place in the world.
However they have now built so many new appartments and chalets the pistes cannot cope.
Go out of season but on no account during peak season or weekends if you can help it!

We will be skiing in Villars for the fouth year now. Superb people, great weather in January, tons snow. We are happy to go to Austria together with my wife for a long weekend. But fot the two weeks holiday -villars.

Visited for a weekend with a friend. Fantastic experience for a typical northeast US skier. Variety of terrain, fine lift service, great food venues and classic rain-to-ski Swiss experience. Staying in Villars is likely expensive, but if you can find a good deal highly recommended. It's luxurious with only minimal pretentiousness.
