Leukerbad boasts the largest natural spa in the Alps and is well suited for a family holiday of mixed abilities and interests. The non-skiers can luxuriate in the wonderful spas, beginners can enjoy the nursery slopes at Erli, cross-country specialists and winter walkers can enjoy the Gemmi whilst intermediate and more advanced skiers and boarders will enjoy the wonderfully scenic Torrent. More adventurous skiers will also find some good back country outings in the area. As well as the Erli area, children and parents will love the pizza restaurant in town with its resident clown and play area. Although the main spa is very child-friendly, the more exclusive Alpentherme is distinctly not for children whilst the Hotel Les Sources des Alpes provides unfettered, pampered luxury.
