i learnt to ski in flims laax at the age of 5, with the ski school. it was a wonderful experience, i am now 23 and ski there often. i highly recommend skiing in flims.

The yellow semi-marked off piste runs are by far the best for boarding. Because it's not a massively busy resort by normal European standards the powder lasts very well. Lift queues are usually fast moving and you'll rarely get caught for more than 10 mins apart from if you try to catch the large lift out of the town first thing in the morning or just after lunch.
