The Swedish ski village Tandådalen is part of the large ski area of Sälen, which also includes the villages Lindvallen, Högfjället and Hundfjället. Tandådalen itself has 21 lifts and 30 slopes, of which most are suitable for the advanced skier. For children in Tandådalen there also is a great park. You will get to Hundfjället village in about 15 minutes with ski lifts. This is automatically part of your ski pass for Tandådalen. You can also buy a ski pass for the entire area of Sälen.

The Sälen Ski Arena offers more than 145 km of ski runs and 300 kilometers of cross-country runs. This all is unlocked by 100 lifts and supported by 80 snow cannons. Most of the ski area is part of Skistar Sälen and has 115 slopes and 85 ski lifts. Besides the villages connected by Skistar, Sälen there are also separate ski areas: Kläppen (32 runs), Nässfjället (11 runs) and Stöten (30 runs).

There is no real après-ski in Tandådalen, but there are some nice restaurants where the kids are also entertained.

For snowboarders there are 2 snowparks in Kläppen. In Stöten i Sälen there is a small funpark with a number of modules, including a Big Air Bag.
