Stöten i Sälen ski resort is situated in Dalarna in Sweden. Started in 1976, Stöten is now owned by Norlandia Hotels & Resorts. Stöten is the most northerly ski resort in Sälen, and is situated some 450 km from the Swedish capital Stockholm. Gothenburg (Göteborg) is about 500 km away and the Norwegian capital Oslo is 'only' 230 km away. Stöten has greatly expanded a number of simple slopes, and is therefore suitable for families with children. There are also some pretty advanced slopes including a World Cup slalom and downhill descent. Much of Stöten is ski-in ski-out, allowing you to enjoy the ski slopes early state.
