Ski holidays in Romme Alpin

Romme Alpin is situated in the Dalarna region near the town of Börlange. Romme is the most popular ski destination of Sweden located in the country and not in the mountains between Norway and Sweden. Because of its location in the lower part of Dalarna, Romme can be reached in about 3 hours by car from the Swedish capital Stockholm. Romme Alpin itself has no hotels and accommodation, though a ski lodge is under development on the slopes. With 600 rooms, almost everyone stays in Borlänge, about 5-10km from the ski slopes.

Romme Alpin has a total of 19km of ski slopes. These runs are well linked, amongst others by 2 modern 6-person chair lifts. From the top of the Solklinten there are beautiful green, blue, red and even black runs. The longest descent is almost 3km long (2700 meters). Since the '07-'08 season an entirely new section has been added next to Romme Sud, the Snöberget. In Snöberget there are 2 beautiful new red runs available.
