Ski holidays in Högfjället

The Swedish Ski Village Högfjället is part of the large ski area of Sälen, which also includes the villages Lindvallen, Tandådalen and Hundfjället. Högfjället itself has 12 slopes and 13 lifts. There are many long runs, the longest 1.1 kilometers and they all finish at the same point in the middle of the village. Especially for families with children this is perfect. Högfjället is connected with Lindvallen through ski lifts and it takes about 20 minutes to get to Lindvallen this way. When you buy a lift pass for Högfjället, the area of Lindvallen is automatically included.

Slope information Sälen - Högfjället

The Sälen Ski Arena offers more than 145 km of ski runs and 300 kilometers of cross-country runs. This all is unlocked by 100 lifts and supported by 80 snow cannons. Most of the ski area is part of Skistar Sälen and has 115 slopes and 85 ski lifts. Besides the villages connected by Skistar, Sälen there are also separate ski areas: Kläppen (32 runs), Nässfjället (11 runs) and Stöten (30 runs).

Apres ski in Högfjället

In Högfjället there is no real après-ski, but there are a number of nice restaurants where you can certainly go to for a snack and a drink after a long day.

Snowboarding in Högfjället

For snowboarders there are 2 snowparks in Kläppen. In Stöten i Sälen there is a small funpark with a number of modules, including a Big Air Bag.

Skischools and ski hire in Högfjället

In Högfjället there is a ski school where you can take all kinds of different classes. Group and private lessons for young and old and various levels. The instructors also speak English.
