Branäs is situated in the region of Värmland in Sweden. The ski area is located close to the Norwegian border and thus attracts many Norwegian tourists every year. Branäs is located at approximately 6 hours drive from Stockholm and 2.5 hours from Karlstad.

Slope information Branäs - Branäs

With a difference in altitude of 415 meters and the longest downhill slopes of about 3km, there is more than enough to enjoy in Branäs for skiers and snowboarders. The ski area has one of the two gondolas in Sweden and this brings you up to most of the intermediate and easy ski slopes. The ski area is one of the best choices for families with children. Throughout the season you'll find a floodlit slope from 19:00 hours each night to descend, included in the price of your ski pass.

Snowboarding Branäs

For snowboarders there is a small fun park in Branäs. There is also a big air jump with Big Air Bag cushion.

Skischools Branäs

The small ski school Branäs offers both private and group lessons.
