Ski holidays in Jasna

Jasna Ski area is located in the Lower Tatra in Slovakia. Jasna is by far the largest and most attractive ski resort of all Slovakia. Jasná Nízke Tatry, which is the ski resort's full name, is built around the Chopok mountain, the highest point in the lower Tatra, slightly above 2000 meters. The ski area is divided in three ski resorts: Otupné, Zahradky and Chopok. The Demanovska valley in which Jasna is located, also has great wellness facilities and natural resources to visit. One of the popular destinations, in addition to skiing, is visiting the (stalagmite)-caves just outside the village.

The Northern ski slopes of Chopok Mountain include 21 km of ski slopes, divided into three separate ski resorts. Zahradky, with 2 chair lifts and 4 ski lifts, has a capacity of nearly 5,000 people per hour. Otupne?s capacity is of 4000 people every hour transported mostly.in its large cable car, and 3 smaller ski lifts. Chopok North is third with just over 2,000 people per hour in its 2 chairlifts and 2 ski lifts. Chopok-South is not actually connected, but has 2 small 4 person chair lifts and ski drag lifts. With long and wide descents, it is equally attractive to beginners and advanced. Night skiing is possible in two places in Jasna, on the Pretekárska ski slopes in Záhradky and on the ski slope Biela Pút near the 4-person chairlift.

Snowboarding Jasna

There are 5 freestyle zones in the Jasna ski area. The Burton Snow Park in Jasna was recently completely renovated and equipped with a large number of snow canons. The snow park is located on the downhill slope Jelení Grú?, where you now have a beautiful boardercross of around 1.5 km in length!

Skischools Jasna

The ski school in Jasna enjoys a great advantage: you can use the first day learning skiing or snowboarding without a ski pass as they have their own part of the ski slopes.
