Ski holidays in Moroznaja

Moroznaja ski resort is located on Kamchatka peninsula in Russia. Moroznaja Sopka is the largest ski area on Kamchatka, located near the bigger city Elizovo. Moroznaja Sopka is very snow certain, although the summit of the ski resort is only at 600 meters altitude. Besides snowboarding or skiing, you can also relax in one of the Russian spa's in Moroznaja (natural hot springs at Termalnyj for example). Do not expect western service levels here however, the atmosphere and restaurants are all typically Russian. The ski resort also overlooks the mountains south of Moroznaja, such as the volcanic ski mountain Korjakskij.

For skiers and snowboarders there are 7 beautiful slopes in Moroznaja Sopka, which offer challenges for beginners as well as for the advanced. There are also various off-piste skiing possibilities. Volen is located approximately 60 km away from Moscow, Russia. Volen is a nice village which can get busy, especially on weekends. You can ski here from December to May.
