Ski holidays in Lacu Rosu

Lacu Rosu is located in the Suhardul Mare Massif in the Carpathians, Romania. Lacu Rosu (the red lake) is a naturally formed lake at about 900 meter altitude. As the literal name suggests this lake often has a red glow caused by the radiation of the sun and the altitude. The lake is flanked by the mountains: the Hasmas, the Giurgeu, the Tarcau and the Suhard.

In total you'll find approximately 3km of runs at the Lacu Rosu ski resort. Especially the Suhard ski slope is worthwhile and is more than 2 km of slope. The decline of this slope is 600 meters which makes it also attractive for advanced and steep enough for some nice carving.
