Ski holidays in Sinaia

Sinaia is situated in the Prahova Valley in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. Sinaia takes its name from the biblical Mount Sinai in the Middle East, named by a Romanian pilgrim who went there. The Sinaia ski resort is the royal ski resort. Here, King Carol built his summer residence (The Peles Castle) in 1870. The Peles Castle is now a national museum, and definitely worth a visit.
