Harghita-Bai is located in the Carpathians in Romania. This ski area is located in Harghita-Bai, the eastern side of the mountain Harghita. The Borhegyes (1379 m) is the highest peak on the south side of the ski resort, the Harghita Ciceului peak (1761 m) being the highest point on the north side. It can be quite cold in Harghita-Bai, where the temperature sometimes goes down to 30 degrees below zero! Average snow conditions are over 60 centimeters of snow during the ski season.

The ski area of Harghita-Bai is a simple and not too extensive ski resort. With 7 different ski runs connected by 5 ski lifts as a beginner you have more than enough challenge here. The ski runs are the best around Kossuth in Harghita-Bai, where the area includes a black run of approximately 600 meter in length, and a family-descent of about 1 kilometer.
