Ski holidays in Busteni

Busteni is located in the Prahova Valley in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. Busteni is located in the Bucegi massif, neighboring the ski resorts from Predeal and Azuga. Besides skiing and snowboarding possibilities, Busteni also hosts a World Cup Ice trail, where ice climbing competitions are held often (mountain climbing).

Busteni ski area is divided into three different ski areas, Calinderu, Babele and Valea Cerbului. Each of these sectors has a cable car that brings you up. Valea Cerbului only has a few short runs and is especially attractive for its cross-country capabilities. In Babele are a lot more skiing opportunities, with a number of challenging ski runs over a decline in height of 600 meters. The recently completed Calinderu sector has the best ski slopes in Busteni. The development is still not finished in Busteni, there are plans for more lifts and ski runs at this ski resort.
