Ski holidays in Szczyrk

Szczyrk ski area is located in the Beskidy Mountains and is a medium-sized ski area in Poland. If you purely look at the aggregate number of ski lifts, Szczyrk forms the biggest ski center in Poland. Besides winter sports facilities, Szczyrk also has a very nice historic village center. One of the beautiful historic buildings is the St. Jacobs Church, a monument that is more than 200 years old and completely built out of wood.

Slope information Szczyrk - Szczyrk

Szczyrk is divided into 4 different ski areas, Skrzyczne ski area, the Bila ski resort, Czyrna-Solisko ski area and Ski Salmopol. In total you will find almost 40km of ski slopes in Szczyrk. The Czyrna-Solisko ski resort is the largest ski area in Szczyrk with a total of about 22 km of downhill runs. In Skrzyczne there are more slopes, adding another 13.5 kilometers of fun. Furthermore, there are another 2.2 kilometers of slopes in Bila and lastly in Salmopol, nearly 1km of slopes. For advanced skiers, the known ski slopes in Szczyrk are the Golgotha, the FIF and Bielsko runs. Besides skiing you can also enjoy excellent cross-country skiing in Szczyrk, and there is also an official ski jump where events are held.

Snowboarding Szczyrk

For snowboarders, Szczyrk offers the best ski resort in Poland. You can enjoy carving on several downhill runs and there is a number of (natural) jumps.

Skischools Szczyrk

Each ski center has its own ski school in Szczyrk where you can take both ski and snowboard lessons. There are many commercial ski schools like Nova Ski school, ski school SMIG, Jacek Narciarska Beskidzka ski school, ski school EPICENTER Sportu, ski school Rekreacji Biuro Sportu and ski school NARCIARSKA''LIVE''. Some hotels also have their own ski and snowboard instructors.
