I'm getting fed up with the BS written about Polish ski areas. 4kms at Harenda? Give me a break - Horrendous we call it. 13kms at Kasprowy eh? Yes, if you want to ski/board to the bottom and queue for 3 hours again, otherwise it's round and round on the snowy hamster wheel at the top for you - about 2kms at best - and that's if you're lucky and they don't close it because of wind once you're up there.
I could go on. Look, Polish skiing cannot compete with real 'resorts' (there aren't any of those here) in any sense of the term and the comments here and on other sites are borne in the realms of the writers imaginations - but if you live here and love it as I do, or happen to be coming for a visit, it's fantastic. Take it from me, I'm a Brit been here 8 years, and I've done 12 days out already this season across 6 ski areas, my kids board and ski. You want the truth? Better ask me :)

Loved your review on Zakopane, definately a ski holiday destination on the rise agree with the other reviews. For beginners and families this is wonderful, whereas groups of friend our age 25-35 will find the entertainment a lot of fun as well.
