Ski holidays in Stranda

The ski resort Stranda is located in the region Oppdal in the west of Norway. Thanks to its unique coastal location, the ski resort is less than 30 minutes drive from the beach. The trip to Stranda per car is about 350km from Trondheim and some 400km from Bergen. It's a lot easier by plane from the nearby airport of Ålesund, which is located 50km away. Ålesund has direct flights from Oslo by SAS and Norwegian.

Strandafjellet as the mountain around Stranda is also called is a small Alpine ski resort for all levels. It has something to offer even to cross-country skiers. The Strandafjellet Skisenter in Stranda offers slopes that reach deep into the fjords, giving you spectacular views from the different runs. Off-piste skiing is fantastic here! The ski area is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the season, additionally evening skiing is possible on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
