Winter resort Snow Park is located at 34km from the village of Wanaka on South Island in New Zealand. The resort is located near ski resort, Snow Farm (Cross-country ski resort) and exists only since 2002. Since recent years, there are some apartments for rent, and even a few shops right next to the slopes and a great restaurant-bar, the Woolshed.

The small ski resort of Snow Park covers just 10 hectares in total. The entire area is equipped with artificial snow facilities, with more than 30 snow cannons.
Snow Park has night skiing/snowboarding every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings during the season from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. There is also a small tubing / tobogganing run.
Snow Park as the name already implies, is a ski area that is almost exclusively focused on freestyle snowboarding (and skiing). Winter sports fans starting with freestyle boarding can try their first steps at the Half Pint beginner park. There is also the main freestyle park and a great half pipe.
Skischools Snow Park
The Snow Park School offers private and group lessons. Obviously the focus of most lessons is on freestyle skiing and boarding.
