The ski resort Valdidentro is a small hamlet in the ski area of Alta Valtellina (ski area Bormio). This ski resort is located in Sondrio in the North of Italy, right next to lake Como. Valdidentro has a magnificent Roman appearance and within the ski area it is the quietest destination. Especially suitable for a romantic ski holiday in Italy!

The Bormio ski area (ski resort Alta Valtellina) is divided into 3 sectors, each with its own slopes: Bormio, Santa Caterina, and Validentro Colombano. The slopes directly above Bormio are the most popular and also the most difficult, and the descent from the highest point down in the Valley has an altitude of 1800 m! (one of the largest drops across Italy). Overall, the downhill in Bormio from Bormio 2000, are almost all longer than 10 km. Especially on weekends, the slopes are densely populated with skiers from the surrounding large cities.
