Ski holiday destination Sauze d'Oulx is located in the Italian Alps in Piedmont, close to the French border. Sauze d'Oulx is one of the favorite winter sports holiday villages in Italy. Sauze d'Oulx is in one word very much alive! During the Olympic Games of Turin, Sauze d'Oulx was the host for the freestyle events. Sauze d'Oulx is not directly connected with all ski slopes of the larger area, but the ski lift to Fraitève also connects you with the ski slopes of Cesana and Claviere. Sestriere and San Sicario are also connected in this way. This is a ski village where you can go with your family as well as a group of young people!

More than 120 lifts give access to more than 400 km of ski slopes. You will have a hard job to ski through the whole area in 1 week. The various ski resorts are usually closer by ski than by car. A large part of the slopes are designed for beginners and intermediate skiers. There are relatively few black ski slopes, but in such a large ski area even the most experienced skiers will find their challenge.

Sauze d'Oulx is the undisputed number one in après-ski in Italy. With a great choice of restaurants, cafes and discos, Sauze d'Oulx is fantastic for everyone. The bars vary from corny après-ski bars where the British and Dutch dominate, to cocktail bars and cafes with live bands. One of the top places we recommend is the Vagabondi, a bar with great live music, which remains open until late.
