The ski holiday destination Pfalzen lies in the middle of the ski region Kronplatz. Because it lies above the Pustertal, at 1030 meters, it is located high in the constant sun. The entire ski area Kronplatz offers more than 100 kilometers of skiing slopes with modern ski lifts.

The slopes of the Kronplatz ski area which are most interesting are situated around the Kronplatz, the highest mountain in South Tyrol, (2275m) which is accessible from different sides with ski lifts. From all villages there are gondolas, which bring you up to the central plateau. Within Kronplatz, Olang is the most suitable for families with young children who are just starting with skiing. Besides the large gondola up, there is also a small baby slope next to the village. Kronplatz is also connected to the Sella Ronda since 2008 through a huge gondola, with almost all areas in Belluno and the Dolomites at your fingertips
