Ski holidays in Cortina d'Ampezzo

The ski resort Cortina is located in the Belluno region. In this ski resort, everything revolves around the village of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Since the 1956 Winter Olympics were held here, Cortina counts as one of today's top ski resorts in the world. Celebrities from all corners of the world come back here each year. The village centre of Cortina therefore consists largely of all kinds of exclusive shops and galleries. The prices in this area are higher than in the surrounding areas. The nightlife is exuberant and turbulent. The après-ski in Cortina d'Ampezzo: there is a huge choice in restaurants, bars and discotheques. It's all about knowing the right spots. The discotheques get crowded after 00:30. The VIP Club and the Metro Club are the two absolute favourites!

The ski area is very diverse and offers plenty of opportunities. It is a true ski holiday paradise for skiers of all levels, although the potential for real novice is limited. The advanced and cracks will be quite content in Cortina. There is more than 130 km of ski slopes, accessible through 37 lifts. The slopes are spread out over several smaller areas that are not all interconnected, but everything is very easy to be reached by bus.
