Ski holidays in Dizin

Ski resort Dizin is situated in the Alborz Mountains in the northern part of Iran. Dizin is about 70km from the Iranian capital Tehran. There are organized coaches from Tehran (One of the largest coach companies; 'Seir-o-Safar' has a direct line). The accommodation offering in Dizin includes two hotels and numerous apartments. The buildings are mostly purposely built, so the ski resort is not exactly charming.

The ski slopes of Diniz are attractive for beginners, but also offer some challenging runs for beginners. The ski season lasts a bit longer in Diniz, compared to for example Europe, where skiing is even possible here sometimes in May, thanks to the enormous altitude. The highest ski lift goes all the way to 3600 meters altitude, making Diniz one of the highest ski resorts in the world.

There is no funpark, but Diniz does include a halfpipe.

Ski lessons are possible. Most of the terrain is quite easy to cope with however, also for beginning skiers.
