Ski holiday destination Winklmoosalm-Steinplatte is located near the village of Reit im Winkl in the Chiemgauer Alps in Germany. Family ski resort Winklmoos has about 44km of ski slopes, of which the majority are red and blue runs. One of the ski slopes brings you all the way down into the valley at the parking lot. You can then take a shuttle from there to the slopes of the Winklmoosalm. Besides this fantastic descent there is also a small funpark with some interesting obstacles for freestyle snowboarders.

There are three winter sport schools in Reit im Winkl. The Ski / Snowboard / Cross School Reit im Winkl - Winklmoos and Hausberg Ski and Snowboard School (both with an establishment located in the Dorfstraße) and the cross-country School Reit im Winkl (in the sports shop Dorner).
