Ski Resort Spitzingsee-Tegernsee is one of the largest combined ski regions of Germany, and is a combination of several small ski areas in Rottach-Egern, Kreuth, Bath Wiessee and Gmund. Ski area Spitzingsee (the Spitzingsee Alpbahnen) belongs to Schliersee. With around 25km of slopes that are linked by 16 different lifts, Spintzinsee is a very popular ski area in the region. By expansions in slopes and snow cannons, this area has become one of the top resorts across Germany. The snowboard park on the Unteren Firstalm (Burton Funpark) is very popular among freestyle snowboarders.
