Ski holidays in Odenwald
The ski area Odenwald consists of a low mountain range in Hessen near Baden-Württemberg. The Odenwald includes the ski village Beerfelden. Winter activities in the Odenwald are diverse. You can ski, snowboard, cross-country ski, or go for a toboggan ride. For alpine skiers and snowboarders, there is a small ski area by the Buchhelle descent on the Tannenberg. In total you will find 430 meters of slope here, where you can ski by day or at night. At the bottom of this slope is a short toboggan slope, about 170 meters long. For cross-country skiers, there is a nice network of cross-country tracks in Beerfelden. Cross-country skiing is possible on the slopes of the Sensbacher Höhe in Beerfelden. There is a northern track 7 km long and a southern track about 3.5 km long. The Olfener Höhe also has two beautiful cross-country tracks (towards the neighboring village Olfen) with a total of 10 km. And, in Rothenberg and Hessenneck-Hesselbach, there are12 km and 9 km of cross-country tracks respectively.
