Ski holidays in Oberstaufen

Ski village Oberstaufen is situated in the Allgäuer Alps in Germany. The Oberstaufen ski area has 40km of ski runs of its own and is one of the best ski destinations throughout Germany. With 8km of blue runs, 22km of red ski runs and 10km of black runs, people with all ski levels can enjoy themselves here. The Oberstaufen ski area is accessible by 1 gondola, 2 chair lifts and 19 drag lifts. The ski area is divided into sectors Hündle-halkirchdorf, Hochgrat/Steibis, Steibis en Sinswang. The region around Oberstaufen has more than 100km of cross-country tracks. Especially the Hündle, Kalzhofen en de Imberg-Hädrich tracks are beautiful. So, a great destination for cross-country skiers as well!

Slope information Allgäuer Alps - Oberstaufen

The Allgäuer Alps are a collection of small and slightly larger ski resorts, totaling about 300 km of ski slopes. The ski areas are widely spread out. A number of well-known ski resorts, in particular, are recommended, including Fellhorn-Kanzelwand near Oberstdorf. This is one of the largest ski areas in Germany with nearly 50 km of ski runs. It actually consists of two main parts, Fellhorn / Kleinwalsertal in Austria, and Nebelhorn. In addition to the ski slopes in Oberstdorf, there are beautiful ski slopes around the Hörner (Hörnergruppe at Balderschwang, Bolsterlang, Obermaiselstein, Ofterschwang, and Fischen) and Oberjoch-Bad Hindelang ski areas.

The apres-ski is very cozy in and around Oberstaufen. Especially the bars around Steibis are nice. Besides this, there are different wellness & spa facilities where you can relax. The family pool Aquaria is fun to go to with kids as well.

Snowboarders have some great options especially in Oberstdorf. Fellhorn Park and Crystal Ground - Snowpark Kleinwalsertal have much to offer in freestyle obstacles, jumps, and halfpipes. In addition, this area has two beautiful boarder crosses.
