Ski holidays in Oberaudorf

Ski village Oberaudorf is located in the Bayerische Voralpen (also called the Beierse Oberinntal) in Germany. Oberaudorf and neighboring village Niederaudorf are also close to the Austrian Kustein in Tirol. Ski area Oberaudorf-Hoheck, and Ski Resort Sudelfeld have in total 30km of ski runs (5km blue, 22km red and 3km black) and thus provide enough challenge for any level winter sporter. For snowboarders, there is also a small fun park and half pipe in Oberaudorf. Besides this ski area, there are also 50km of beautiful walk trails and three toboggan runs.

In Bayerische Voralpen, the ski resorts in Oberaudorf, Lengries-Brauneck, Schlier (at the Spitzingsee), and Sudelfeld are all worth a visit. All these ski resorts have about 25-35 km of alpine skiing runs and are very popular among families with children.

The apres-ski in Oberaudorf is not very diverse but very cozy. The best places are the Alm-Rausch Oberaudorf by the valley station, the Wenger Stadl by the middle station and Berggasthof Hocheck on top of the mountain. Especially the Alm-Rausch is a real classic apres-ski stube.

Snowboarders in Bayerische Voralpen will most likely enjoy Schlier. In Schliersee, the Burton snowboard park on the Unteren Firstalm provides a great challenge even for experienced snowboarders.
