Neudorf-Sehmatal is located in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) in Germany. Neudorf has a small own ski area (Skilift am Paulusberg in Neudorf/Vierenstraße), especially suitable for skiing families with children. The ski area is not really interesting for longer than a few days, but as a beginner you can take the first steps skiing or snowboarding here. Fichtelberg ski resort with 15km of ski runs is also relatively close by. For cross-country skiers and winter hiking the area around Neudorf has plenty of options. You can 40km of cross-country tracks / walking trails here. These routes around Neudorf pass through to Wiesental and head on back in a large circle. The longest and best known of these cross-country / walking trails is the Neudorfer Skiwanderweg (12.5 km).
