Meßstetten is located in the Swabian Alb in Germany. For skiers and snowboarders, there is a small ski area in Messtetten: Skilift Tale. Skilift Tale has a descent of 600 meters which is lit in the evening so you can keep on skiing most days until 22:00. With a total of 65km of cross-country tracks, Messstetten is well equipped for cross-country skiers. The Alter Hau track (which starts at the Meßstetten parking lot) of 14km is one of the most beautiful. Besides skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing Meßstetten also has a real ski jump. The Heubergschanzen is a medium-sized ski jump where many (local) competitions are organized.
