Mehlmeisel is located in the Fichtelgebirge in Germany. Mehlmeisel has a small private ski area: the Klausenlift. The Klausenlift is located on one of the flanks of Ochsenkopf and has three small lifts that connect a couple of descents. The cross-country network in this region is enormous, at least 60km of tracks in the Ochsenkopf area. The Königskron-track around Mehmeisel is one of the most beautiful and longest in the whole region (almost 15 km long).
