Holiday village Medebach is located in (Hoch-) Sauerland in Germany. The village is a combination with its neighbour Medebach-Küstelberg and has a small private ski area, ski Schloßberg. Schloßberg ski resort has three beautiful little descents, one blue, one red and one black descent.

Sauerland has a collection of smaller ski areas, many of which are accessible via the ski pass, the Ski Arena Card. This ski pass includes Skiliftkarussell Winterberg, Willingen, Postwiesen, Neuastenberg, Sahnehang, Züschen, and Skikarussell Altastenberg. With more than 60 lifts (including 6 chair lifts) that carry you to 50 km of ski runs, this ski area is not only suitable for beginners, but even advanced or expert skiers think this is a fun destination. The ski areas that lie in Sauerland include a total of about 100 km of ski slopes, if you add all small surrounding ski areas, and a dazzling 300 km of cross-country trails!

The apres-ski is modest in Schloßberg. Around Medebach-Küstelberg there are more than enough restaurants however and some nice cafes.

Snowboarding in Medebach

In three areas, Winterberg, Willingen, and Bestwig-Wasserfallen, some extra attention is given to snowboarders. The big jumps in the Winterberg and Willingen fun parks are very beautiful.
