Snow village Kreuth is situated on the Tegnersee in the Bayerische Voralpen in Germany. Kreuth provides access to the ski area Spitzingsee-Tegernsee. This Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski area is one of the largest combined ski regions of Germany, and is a combination of several small ski areas in Rottach-Egern, Kreuth (Kirchberglifte and the Hirschberglifte), Bad Wiessee and Gmund. The Kirchberglifte in Kreuth is a blue run, which attracts mostly daytime visitors. The Hirschberglifte is a slightly wider ski area with a couple lifts and not just a blue descent, but also a red slope.

Slope information Bayerische Voralpen - Kreuth

In Bayerische Voralpen, the ski resorts in Oberaudorf, Lengries-Brauneck, Schlier (at the Spitzingsee), and Sudelfeld are all worth a visit. All these ski resorts have about 25-35 km of alpine skiing runs and are very popular among families with children.

Snowboarders in Bayerische Voralpen will most likely enjoy Schlier. In Schliersee, the Burton snowboard park on the Unteren Firstalm provides a great challenge even for experienced snowboarders.
