Klingenthal is located in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) in Germany. The village has a good connection with the cross-country trail, the Kammloipe which is 36km long. Klingthal is also the home of an ice skating rink, and a large ski jump; the Vogtland Arena. For skiers furthermore, there is a small descent to Klingenthal-Mühlleithen to learn skiing or snowboarding. (especially suitable for children)
