Hohegeiß is located in the Oberharz in Germany. With an altitude of 642 meters Hohegeiss is by far the highest ski resort and spa in the Harz region. For skiers and snowboarders, in Hohegeiß there are three small drag lifts. Cross-country skiers have a lot more to choose from, with 15km of cross-country skiing tracks. In the nearby Benneckenstein has a further 66 km of cross-country trail network.
